I adorn the painted plates and vases with Kalocsa folk patterns. They are really beautiful - and cheap. Usually my customers buy them as presents. Quite often they also ask me to write the receiver’s names on the articles.
The scratched utensils, which only few artists make, are more beautiful than the painted ones, and of a more stable value.
They cost more, but are fit for any type of furniture. More and more people buy them. PAINTED AND SCRATCHED UTENSILS ARE NOT ONLY BEAUTIFUL, BUT LASTING PRESENTS, AND NON-PERISHING KEEP-SAKES, AS WELL.
I adorn painted plates and vases with Kalocsa folk patterns. They are truly beautiful. Many people buy them, Hungarians and foreigners alike. I apply the patterns on hand-made (not by me) pottery dishes. In most of the cases I paint colourful flowers on black (or white) surfaces. They can be varnished or without varnish - and are CHEAP. Usually my customers buy them as presents. Sometimes they also ask me to write the receiver’s names on the articles. I always use different patterns of flowers, so a customer never gets two articles with the same one.

They cost more, but are fit for any type of furniture, and more and more people buy them. The potteries usually get a prime colour, but not always.
I decorate them with folk patterns made with freehand drawing. My favourite ones are tulips, stars and patterns from the Sárköz region.
Compared to eggs, plates and vases give much more room for making patterns full of life. You can’t imagine how beautiful they can be when finished.
The sizes vary. Both plates and vases can be used from the very tiny pieces to the hefty ones, e.g. those which are put on floors.
Painted and scratched utensils are not only beautiful, but lasting presents, and non-perishing keep-sakes, as well. IT IS WORTH BUYING THEM AS PRESENTS AND TO DECORATE HOMES. |
